When did you start surfing? It began one fateful morning when I was 12 years of age. But I didn’t even fully get into it. I wanted to be a lidder, but Dad was like, “Take the board out for once,” and I hit it up and just grew from there.
How often do you get out there? I jog a little, weights sometimes. I surf everyday.
Best comp result? Equal 17th at the Brothers Neilson Pro Jnr 2007, quarters at Red Bull 2009, and recently runner-up in the Open Men’s Regional Titles 2010. Comps suck though, especially when you lose. I just can’t do ‘em.

Study or work? I’m studying Visual Art and Design and working with my Dad’s company, ADK constructions, doing labouring and carpentry work in the meantime.

Favourite surf spot? Mini Chopes, Desert Point, Tee Twos, Pipeline.
Food? I have an eating disorder and I just can’t stop. I will eat anything and everything.
Music? 2Pac and HOODLMZ – Semo and Benny, the classiest electro DJ duo sensation to come out of the Eastern Suburbs in a long time.
Best ever session? Desert Point last year with Kuey was unbelievable. Does that wave ever end?
What do you get up to when you’re not surfing? So many activities. I used to be involved in lawn bowls and science club, but right now I’m into my karate and Call of Duty. I enjoy painting pretty pictures and I like to party with Riley!
Favourite thing about Maroubra? Definitely Moy’s, “How are you boy? You come buy from my shop?”, in the mornings, the supplies from Maroubra Beach Surf & Skate shop, Ahu keeping all the kooks away from the water, and getting Hakata feeds with the beautiful French girl down the beach.
Girls? Ha ha, nah I don’t get any. Dan gets heaps though!
What do you want to do before you get too old? Fall in love.

Road trips or plane trips? Road trips fo’ sure. I hate planes (they’re scary). I used to have to psyche myself up to go places. It’s enjoyable for me to get away whenever I want; just jump in the car on a heaps random adventure.
Next trip to? The fridge at Blake’s house. Ha ha, nah definitely to Hawaii.
Your future? Getting the biggest barrel I can get and looking for new sponsorship support.
